PHOTOSOPHY
Based on the 2010 work of Elia Festa,“PHOTOSOPHY” is the collection of fabric floors developed by the Danish multinational Ege. Though invisible to the naked eye, reality, as it is seen through the photographer’s lens, becomes the source of inspiration. Everyday objects, spaces and places take on new and unexpected shape thanks to the light, the point of view and the observer’s creativity. They look like surreal drawings, almost liquid shapes, extraordinary optical illusions. Thanks to its cutting-edge Millitron technology, Ege has faithfully translated the photographic art of Elia Festa on carpets of exquisite quality, whether in the original black and white or in color. A concept for a new era where art is replicated using the industrial technologies of modern manufacturing.
